Aging Graysfully
Covid shutdown was the turning point for me. There was no need to "dye" then. Zoom filters were forgiving & as we embraced this new way of being seen, I grew into my salt and pepper hair as it grew untamed on my head. As we emerged from lockdown, a butterfly turned into a moth - comfortably so.
I would have it no other way, honestly. I've been asked where I streak my hair. Life and it's various shades & hues have a wonderful way of doing that. The ear-muffs are not a good look I admit, but how many photos does one have of the back of one's head! And it was a cold morning or maybe I'm getting old.
So here's to zebra stripes, to black & white, to life in my 50s - it's vintage stuff!
